I joined Bumper at inception as a co-founder and CMO to lead the full spectrum of marketing activity from brand development through to product experience. Marketing kicked off with a series of capital raises totalling $22m. Following the successful raise my team built out a community, orchestrated the UX/UI design of both the web presence and app and drove product usage.
Harnessing Volatility with AI Power
Bumper is a decentralised pooled risk market which protects the value of financial assets from downside volatility and market crashes. This clever system uses the blockchain and smart contracts to allow users to make value gains in any market direction. Alongside highly innovative rebalancing mechanisms it has a combination of three AI tech stacks to enhance prediction, sentiment and technical analysis to the protocol.

As contract CMO at INDX, I oversaw digital marketing budget deployment, tracked ROI, enhanced customer experience, built brand awareness, and drove organisational change in social media and digitization.
I worked closely with senior leadership, delivering strategies to maintain investor relationships as they moved toward the launch of their masternode fund.

Copper is a customer experience and digital marketing agency.
As Founder and Director I led the team to deliver high performing fundraising and marketing campaigns. With a strong focus on charities their digital experiences provide a measurable uplift through strategic thinking, digital technology, insightful data and creative execution.
Reaching New Audiences
Amnesty approached Copper to develop the proposition, creative and build the assets for a UK Government match funded appeal.
Copper developed a series ads which were rolled out across various display ad formats and posts for social.
The campaign achieved well above its target bringing in over £800,000. A thorough testing strategy saw a 75% uplift in average response rate, which in turn also saw a 28% uplift in average gift.
Building Amazing Experiences
Designing and optimising better experiences often come from understanding data and testing. For MNDA we defined their digital skills needs, redesigned fundraisers’ digital journeys, and ran a series of donor appeals.
For World Vision we built a dynamic and highly personalised welcome experience for new supporters which reduced attrition by 20%.

GetTasting allows tasting event and wine experience hosts to list their wine event. I built this following taking a WSET wine qualification and seeing a lack of consolidated wine experiences and resources.

I'm a keen mountain biker and enjoy riding the trails around where I live in the UK and further abroad. I've participated in various competitive XC and downhill races as well as sportives. The thrill and challenge of riding down a hill at speed provide focus and clarity.

Under his leadership, Copper assisted clients in raising over £35 million and delivered over 100 million high-performing personalised emails to opted-in supporters.
With his extensive experience in digital marketing and a proven track record of driving engagement and growth, Jason now serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Bumper, bringing his expertise to the forefront of the DeFi space.

Not only does he revel in slamming the brakes of his mountain bike while at top speed to pull some of the finest stoppies you’ll ever see, but he’ll easily slam down a glass of Château Montelena Chardonnay as a chaser, right after downing a bottle of 2004 Château Angélus Bordeaux. Yeah, you heard that right... red ON white! Animal.
